Spring Showers Nature Flowers
Spring is nearly here, and I am here for it!
Much like me, Mother Nature is stirring from her long winter rest; the steady warmth of her breath beginning to melt the frost-paralyzed landscape. As she wields her magic paintbrush, stormy grays and listless browns yield to vibrant, verdant greens. She seductively whispers her tantalizing promises of renewal, causing dormant hope to sprout vicariously in my spirit.
Once again, robins-the noisy sentinels of spring- have found their way back to the treetops outside my yawning windows, left open to exhale stagnant winter air. Neon yellow daffodils steadily push their way toward life-sustaining sunshine and the seemingly endless blue skies. With a song in my heart and a tune on my lips, it is a joy to hang laundry outside in a lilac scented breeze.
Rainbows adorn the skies after a weeping spring storm; a bold ribbon promising that sunny days will always eventually return. And, post-storm, the nitrogen-rich rains have revitalized dormant soils to again grow flowers as tokens of further encouragement. And so, life will continue on.
